Penny is the Senior Research and Data Analyst at Pathway, having joined the team in September 2026. She works closely with clinical and other colleagues to capture, analyse and report data collected from the Pathway Partnership Programme hospital teams, in order to both improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness, and to help evidence policy advocacy for the sector.
Penny is a social scientist who has been working on housing and health research since 2017. She has a background in academia and consultancy, and has previously specialised in the social and environmental impact of communal and community-led housing.
Penny is a keen cyclist and in 2015 spent a year travelling on the back of a tandem bicycle, where she heard the phrase ‘she’s not pedalling!’ in several different languages.
