Chris is Pathway’s Medical Director and the Secretary to the Faculty of Homeless and Inclusion Health. He is the clinical lead for the Pathway Partnership Programme, and a Pathway Fellow.

Chris studied medicine at the Royal Free Hospital medical school, where he qualified in 1989, completing GP training in 1992. He has worked in Homeless and Inclusion Health since 1998 when he was appointed as the first GP at a new specialist Primary Care service for people experiencing homelessness in Brighton. This service has now developed into ARCH Health CIC where Chris was Director and is currently Chair.

Chris has worked with Pathway nationally since 2012, writing needs assessments, working on programme and team development, and educational initiatives such as the annual conference and Inclusion Health CPD events. He was also the GP in the Brighton Pathway team from 2012 to 2025, seeing first-hand how Pathway’s holistic approach makes a massive, life-changing difference to the care and discharge of patients.
