Meet our garden design team

Our garden has been designed by Allon Hoskin and Robert Beaudin of Modular, a leading London-based garden design studio, in collaboration with Manzoor and Ross, members of Pathway’s Lived Experience Team with personal experience of homelessness.

Modular designers

Co-founder & Managing Director Allon Hoskin has over 35 years of experiences in the landscape sector and is a specialist in construction and technical design.   A senior RHS show judge from 2015 to 2024, Allon has chaired garden assessment and garden judging panels, mainly for and at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

The inspiration to work in this industry came at an early age and from the desire to be outside, or more specifically, not to be inside. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show gives us an extraordinary opportunity to work closely with the charity Pathway and use horticulture to make positive change.

Designer Robert Beaudin brings over 30 years of experience as a landscape architect. He has worked at various design firms in Canada, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom and project led the design and installation of significant landscape projects – including show gardens, residential gardens, horticultural parks and botanical gardens open to the public. Robert currently works as a freelance landscape architect for Modular.

My passion has always been plants and gardens. Both my father and grandfather were avid gardeners, and I assume my passion has been handed down to me from them. Working on a garden at the Show is a new challenge and it’s the opportunity to learn new ways of doing things.

Pathway volunteers with experience of homelessness

Manzoor has been through many challenges, including homelessness. He is passionate about improving health outcomes for clients affected by homelessness. Part of the Chelsea garden project team from the beginning, Manzoor believes in a garden’s power to create a real sense of belonging.

Gardens bring tranquillity and even for a short time help me to forget my worries. Through the Chelsea Flower Show I’d love to raise awareness and help Pathway’s cause to reduce homelessness.

Ross volunteers with Pathway to give back to those facing exclusion from healthcare while experiencing homelessness. Following his turbulent journey, Ross is now a proud, active member of Pathway, regularly delivering training and speaking at conferences – and helped inspire this RHS Chelsea Garden.

I feel extremely lucky to be part of a great project. The show will give us a huge platform to talk about the great work we do towards homelessness and inclusion health. Being part of this project has helped me learn more about nature and public gardens.
